A 4’10 watch lover who has an affinity for things that are hard to get (i.e. Phoebe Philo Celine Moon Hoops). I started sourcing watches at 17 – my first request was a purple dial, beige strap Cartier Must – and other high-demand low-quantity goodies.
I’m no nepo baby, but I was born into the industry. I grew up alongside my grandfather at his watch and jewelry store, learning hidden rules of the business while searching for fallen gemstones on his wooden floors. I’d run errands for him downtown trading watches and gold for more watches and gold, then bus back home to do my very boring homework.
When I was old enough, it became my first (legal) job. That’s when I really got into watches. I met interesting people with even more interesting inventory and was exposed to the inner cogs of the watch world. I started sourcing and selling to my friends, then to strangers, then to other retailers, and quickly made finding vintage Cartier my M.O.
And so here we are a decade later, where my hustle turned into a career. With my hound-nose and exposure to the negative space of the industry, I decided to start The Second Hand.
My goal is to not only help build your collection but to make watches more accessible, interesting, and community-driven. I hope to be a guide, a resource, and a hand into my favorite place, the watch market.
